Mermay 2019, Days 1-14

My goal has been to write an essay type blog post every Saturday for this site, but my flu is kicking my ass and making my head fuzzy. So for now, enjoy this compilation of art for #Mermay2019, days 1 through 14. Day 1: ExtravagantA digital illustration of a pink skin-toned mermaid with teal hair... Continue Reading →

Angelito Prestado

This post is coming a bit late, as is my pattern lately, because I have been battling the flu. But I wanted to share my first digital oil painting: a portrait of my uncle. My uncle was a sweet, pure, genuine, funny, and loving man who's sole desire in life (as far as I could... Continue Reading →

So now that I've thoroughly fallen in love with Procreate and digital painting, I decided to go ahead and create it digitally. The inspiration for this piece came from a dream. I can no longer remember the... Continue Reading →
