So I want to write a blog (still)

If you’ve read my recent posts here you’ll know that I’ve been going through a reflective phase in my creative journey. Balancing consistent content output on Patreon, YouTube, Instagram, and this blog takes careful planning as well as trial and error. But I think I’ve come to a solution for the best balance.

If you follow me on YouTube you probably already saw this video where I explain the changes I’m making. But in a nut shell what I’m doing is switching the energy I put into YouTube back into this site. That means that I’ll now be posting weekly blog or poetry posts here.

I want to pull away from video essays and go back to writing. That’s my happy place. That’s where I want to focus my energy. This isn’t to say I won’t be uploading on YouTube anymore, just that my videos will be a bit different. Definitely consider subscribing to my channel if you want to see those changes in action.

As far as this site goes, though, I want to write more think pieces (sort of like the educational/essay videos I’ve been doing on YouTube). One a week will probably be unrealistic if I want to keep good quality, so I think I’ll shoot for one a month with weekly blog posts about what’s been going on with me/what’s been on my mind.

This means that not only will you be getting more writing from me, but you’ll be getting more personal stories and reflections. My hope with all my media output has always been to help people feel less alone, and being candid about my own experiences is the best way to do that.

Thank you so much for following my blog and having an interest in what I have to say. I appreciate each and every one of you!
